Heartlinks is a grief support center dedicated to walking alongside children, adults, and families as they navigate serious illness, loss, and grief. We provide a compassionate, welcoming space where individuals can find understanding, connection, and hope during some of life’s most challenging moments.
Through professional counseling, peer support groups, and community-based programs, Heartlinks helps people process grief, build resilience, and move forward, without having to do it alone.

The Heartlinks team is made up of compassionate professionals and support staff dedicated to walking alongside individuals and families through grief and loss.
Diana Cuddeback
LCSW, CCTP
Heartlinks Director
Diana is the founding director of Heartlinks Grief Center and has been a leader in grief support for children, families, and individuals for over three decades. She began Heartlinks’ first children’s grief group in 1991 and has continued to develop innovative grief programming ever since.
Diana’s vision is rooted in building a meaningful community of support—one filled with learning, connection, and compassion for people grieving before and after a loss.
Jodi Flesner
Ph.D., LPC
Clinical Supervisor & Program Coordinator
Jodi is a licensed therapist, clinical supervisor, and program coordinator at Heartlinks. She provides individual and family counseling, facilitates grief support groups, and leads community outreach and education efforts.
Jodi’s work is deeply informed by both her professional experience and personal understanding of grief. She is passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals of all ages can connect, heal, and feel less alone.
Michayla Payne
Business & Communications Manager
Michayla supports Heartlinks through business operations, communications, and marketing. With a background in business administration and marketing, she brings creativity, organization, and care to every aspect of her work.
Her connection to Heartlinks is deeply personal, shaped by her own experience with loss. This perspective informs her work and reinforces her commitment to sharing Heartlinks’ mission with compassion and authenticity.
Becca Muder
MA, LMSW
Therapist
Becca is a therapist at Heartlinks who provides compassionate, client-centered care to children, adolescents, and adults navigating grief and loss. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from Saint Louis University and a Master’s in Theological Studies from the University of Dayton.
Becca brings a collaborative and strengths-based approach to her work, valuing honesty, mindfulness, and self-compassion. She is committed to supporting clients as they explore new ways to heal, grow, and move forward along their grief journey.
Erica Carroll
LMSW
Therapist & Curriculum Specialist
Erica serves as a therapist and curriculum specialist at Heartlinks, supporting individuals and families through grief using a strengths-based and empowering approach. She holds a Master of Social Work from Boston University and a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.
In addition to her clinical work, Erica leads the development of grief education curriculum that Heartlinks shares with schools and communities nationwide, expanding access to meaningful grief support and education.
